Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets Fresh salmon
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced or sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh dill or parsley, Red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Position rack in center.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry and rub all sides with olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a bowl, toss broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on one side of the baking sheet.
  6. Spread the seasoned broccoli on the other side in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and broccoli has slightly charred edges.
  8. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and broccoli.
  9. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweet-savory twist, drizzle with honey mustard sauce before serving.
  • Wild-caught salmon is recommended for richer flavor and better texture.
  • Ensure broccoli is in a single layer for even cooking and crispiness.
  • Do not overcook the salmon to prevent dryness.
