Description

Easy Zesty Beef Pepper Fajita Skillet that sparks flavor joy.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin strips
  • 2 Bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
  • 1 Yellow onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Slice beef into thin strips, core and thinly slice bell peppers, mince onion and garlic. In a bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Warm 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add seasoned beef strips in a single layer, cooking undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
  4. Push beef to one side, add peppers and onions, cook 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Stir beef and veggies together, squeeze fresh lime juice over the skillet, and toss until everything glistens.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped cilantro, and serve hot.
