- 1 lb Beef sirloin strips
- 2 Bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
- 1 Yellow onion
- 2 Garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Slice beef into thin strips, core and thinly slice bell peppers, mince onion and garlic. In a bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Warm 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
- Add seasoned beef strips in a single layer, cooking undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
- Push beef to one side, add peppers and onions, cook 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Stir beef and veggies together, squeeze fresh lime juice over the skillet, and toss until everything glistens.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped cilantro, and serve hot.
