  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats, milk, water, and a pinch of salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir to blend and bring to a gentle simmer, about 2 minutes.
  2. Simmer oats, stirring occasionally, until soft and creamy, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Warm mixed berries in a small skillet over medium-low heat for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Sweeten the berries with honey or maple syrup, stirring gently to coat and simmer for another minute.
  5. Toast sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly until fragrant and lightly golden brown.
  6. Assemble by spooning creamy oats into serving bowls, topping with warm berries, toasted almonds, and a swirl of almond butter if desired.
