- 3 large Egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter

- 1/2 cup Chopped nuts
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons Chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt until smoothly combined.
- Heat Milk: Pour milk into the dry mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until warmed and bubbles form (about 5 minutes).
- Temper Yolks: Lightly beat egg yolks in a bowl, gradually whisk in hot milk to temper, then stir back into the pan.
- Cook Pudding: Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until pudding thickens and coats a spoon (about 3-4 minutes).
- Finish with Butter & Vanilla: Off heat, stir in butter and vanilla until melted and the pudding is glossy.
- Chill: Spoon pudding into cups, press plastic wrap on the surface, and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with Toppings: Garnish with berries, whipped cream, nuts, or chocolate shavings before serving.
