Description
Savory vegetable-filled crescent squares made with spinach, peppers, carrots, cream cheese, and Parmesan for an easy appetizer.

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chopped water chestnuts
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Warm the butter and sauté green onions, peppers, garlic, and carrots for 3–4 minutes.
- Add spinach and cream cheese; stir until smooth.
- Mix in seasonings, mayonnaise, lemon, water chestnuts, and Parmesan.
- Unroll one crescent sheet and press seams together.
- Spread filling over dough, leaving a small border.
- Add second dough sheet on top and seal edges.
- Bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly and slice into squares.
