- 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it foams and just starts to brown (2–3 minutes).
- Add the pear slices, arranging them in a single layer. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until edges turn golden brown and fruit begins to soften.
- Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and clove over the pears. Stir gently for 1–2 minutes until sugar melts into a glossy, fragrant glaze.
- Stir in the ham pieces, cooking another 2–3 minutes until heated through, lightly crisped at the edges, and perfectly melded with the sweet-spice glaze.
- Season with fresh black pepper, and if desired, red pepper flakes or thyme. Let everything meld for 1 minute before removing from heat.
