- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 3 cloves Garlic (freshly minced)
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (fresh)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup White wine (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes, until shimmering.
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Add unsalted butter to the hot pan and let it melt and turn golden.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
- Nestle fillets into the garlic butter and cook undisturbed for 3–4 minutes.
- Carefully flip each fillet and spoon garlic butter sauce over the tops.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets, sprinkle with parsley and let rest for 1 minute before serving.
