Description

Loaded Mashed Potato Bites are crispy, cheesy bites made from mashed potatoes and loaded with flavor. Perfect for parties, snacks, or creative leftovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine mashed potatoes, cheese, bacon, onions, garlic powder, one egg, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls and chill for 15 minutes.
  3. Set up breading stations: flour, beaten egg, breadcrumbs.
  4. Roll each ball in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry at 350°F for 2–3 minutes until golden or bake at 425°F for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with dipping sauces like sour cream or ranch.
