- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups fresh apples, chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and eggs one at a time until well combined. Gently fold in chopped apples.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before drizzling with caramel sauce and slicing into bars.
