Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and position the rack in the center.
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter in a large bowl until the texture resembles coarse sand.
- Press the crumbly oat mixture firmly into an 8×8-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12 minutes at 350°F, until the edges are golden brown.
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water.
- Add vanilla extract and stir gently to incorporate flavor.
- Spread the warm fudge evenly over the cooled oat base using an offset spatula.
- Chill the bars in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
