Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and position the rack in the center.
  2. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter in a large bowl until the texture resembles coarse sand.
  3. Press the crumbly oat mixture firmly into an 8×8-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes at 350°F, until the edges are golden brown.
  5. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water.
  6. Add vanilla extract and stir gently to incorporate flavor.
  7. Spread the warm fudge evenly over the cooled oat base using an offset spatula.
