  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 wedges Lemon (for garnish)
  • 2 cups Cooked pasta or rice (optional)
  • 4 cups Mixed greens or garden salad (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry, season lightly with salt, set aside. Warm 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; stir constantly for 30 seconds, until fragrant and golden.
  3. Arrange shrimp in a single layer; cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and slightly caramelized.
  4. Reduce heat to medium; stir in remaining butter and fresh parsley, tossing shrimp until sauce thickens and coats each piece, about 1 minute.
  5. Transfer shrimp to plates or serve directly from the skillet; finish with lemon wedges and extra parsley.
