Description

Simple Garlic Butter Noodles are a comforting dish that combines minimal ingredients for maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Spaghetti or Linguine
  • 1 tablespoon Salt (for boiling water)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic (finely minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti and cook until just al dente, about 8–9 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil until butter foams and turns a light golden hue, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring constantly, until garlic is fragrant and just starting to turn golden, about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Drain pasta, reserving ΒΌ cup pasta water. Add noodles to the skillet, tossing with sauce. Splash reserved water until sauce coats each strand.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in parsley and parmesan. Toss until cheese melts.
