Description

Crispy Lumpia Snack Delight is a delicious, crowd-pleasing snack that’s perfect for any occasion, offering a crispy texture and savory filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1 cup Carrots, finely shredded
  • 1 bunch Green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped finely
  • 3 tbls Soy sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 20 Lumpia wrappers
  • 3 cups Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Water chestnuts, diced
  • 1 cup Shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup Cabbage, finely shredded

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground pork until no pink remains, about 5 minutes, breaking it into fine crumbles.
  2. Add garlic and onion to the skillet; cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and translucent, stirring constantly to prevent sticking or burning.
  3. Stir in shredded carrots, green onions, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes until veggies soften but retain a slight crunch.
  4. Lay one lumpia wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling near one edge, fold the bottom corner tightly over, tuck in sides, and roll to seal with a dab of water.
  5. Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet, about ⅓ inch deep. Heat over medium-high until a small wrapper corner sizzles immediately, approximately 1–2 minutes.
  6. Carefully add rolled lumpia in batches, frying each side for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and stay crisp.
