Creamy Tzatziki Chicken Gyros You’ll Want on Repeat


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 5 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • pounds chicken breasts
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 6 pita breads
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Pickled red onions
  • Radishes
  • Shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons oregano
  • ½1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 4 russet potatoes
  • ½ cup crumbled feta

Instructions

  1. Mix marinade and coat chicken and peppers. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  2. Roast at 425°F for 20–25 minutes until cooked. Rest and slice.
  3. Toss potatoes with seasoned oil and bake until crisp.
  4. Finish fries with feta.
  5. Assemble pitas with chicken, toppings, and sauce.
