Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Bites with Fig & Thyme – Elegant Holiday Appetizer
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon salted butter, melted
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 to 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 16 ounces Brie cheese, cut into 24 slices
- 1/3 cup fig preserves
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon coarse sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine melted butter, cranberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut each sheet into 6 rectangles.
- Spread fig preserves in the center of each rectangle.
- Top with 2 slices of Brie.
- Spoon cranberry mixture over Brie and press gently.
- Fold edges slightly inward.
- Brush edges with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Sprinkle with fresh thyme and serve warm.
