Description

Classic Chicken Alfredo Pasta is a creamy, comforting dish that’s perfect for any evening meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces Fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  2. Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear chicken in the hot skillet, cooking 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Transfer to a plate and let rest.
  5. Boil salted water in a large pot, then cook fettuccine until al dente, about 10–12 minutes. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  6. Melt butter in the same skillet over medium-low heat until foaming.
  7. Sauté garlic in the melted butter for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Simmer heavy cream in the skillet, stirring gently and bringing to a light boil.
  9. Blend in grated Parmesan cheese off heat, whisking until smooth.
  10. Combine the drained pasta and sliced chicken into the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  11. Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
