A hearty dinner salad with Cajun-roasted salmon, crunchy garlic breadcrumbs, creamy tahini dressing, capers, and avocado.

- 1½ pounds salmon fillets
- 3–4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 2 cups white bread
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup fresh herbs
- 1 cup Parmesan
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 avocados
- 2 tablespoons capers
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- ½ cup tahini
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon
- 2 teaspoons savory seasoning sauce
- 1–2 garlic cloves
- ½ cup Parmesan
- ¼–½ cup water
- Salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F and grease a baking sheet.
- Toss salmon with Cajun seasoning and oil, then roast 10–15 minutes.
- Toast bread with garlic, butter, and salt until golden.
- Whisk all dressing ingredients until smooth.
- Toss salad base with dressing.
- Top with salmon and breadcrumbs, then serve.
