Easy Beef and Veggie Stir-Fry with a Bold, Flavor-Packed Twist


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean beef strips
  • 2 medium Bell peppers
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch slurry, and brown sugar until smooth, then set aside.
  2. Preheat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with oil until shimmering, about 1 minute.
  3. Add beef strips in a single layer, cook until browned and just cooked through, about 2–3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Toss in garlic and ginger, stirring constantly until fragrant and golden edges form, about 30 seconds.
  5. Introduce carrots and broccoli, stir-frying until bright and tender-crisp, about 2 minutes, then add bell peppers and snow peas for 1 minute.
  6. Return beef, pour sauce over, tossing quickly to finish until sauce thickens and coats with a glossy sheen, about 1 minute.
